I'm sorry to hear that a recent visit to your GP has shown an abnormal blood result and now you are waiting for an appointment at the haematology clinic. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious.
We know that for many people this period of waiting and uncertainty can be difficult and it's natural that you have questions and concerns. Try to remember that not everyone who is referred to see a specialist is diagnosed with cancer. It may well be that your GP wants to get things checked for some reassurance.
