Hello!
Ive recently been struggling with a few symptoms and I was wondering if anyone could maybe give me some reassurance if they’ve had anything similar before.
For a while now I have had headaches in on tiny spot on my head on the left hand side towards the back. The pain is very strong but only lasts a few seconds and happens multiple times throughout the day. I also get a lot of headaches in general, almost every day, most of the time these are treatable with pain killers however the pain killers do not help the intense ice pick style of pains.
Ive seen 3 doctors 3 times regarding this and all have told me it could be something different (which hasn’t been very reassuring) however, none of them seem too concerned with it being anything serious.
However, I have recently developed a few other symptoms. I’ve been really struggling to speak. I find it hard to get my words out or find it hard to use the correct words when speaking. I tend to use the wrong words in a sentence and only notice after i’ve done it. I find it really frustrating, especially at work when speaking to customers because I feel like I have to restart what I’m saying all the time.
I’ve also had a few dizzy spells and just a general unusual feeling in my head, like I will look up a street and if it’s slightly up hill then I start to feel extremely disoriented.
I think what worries me the most though is the newest symptom which is my head, face and elbow tingling on my left side. It only happens every so often, it’s not constant, but i get a sudden wave of tingling on one side of my body and this is really concerning me.
Also not sure if it’s related but I wake up in the middle of the night to my head racing, it’s like i have 1 million thoughts at once and i can’t get back to sleep, this could be a symptom of anxiety though.
I’m only 20 so I know a brain tumour isn’t the most likely but I’m also terrified incase it is.
