I just wanted to say we are thinking of you during this stressful time. I guess the MDT meeting was today and I hope that you get an appointment soon to find out exactly what is going on. It's completely normal to be scared when dealing with all this uncertainty at the moment and after having been through all these tests. 

Let us know what you find out - you are not alone though and many members of our community have been through this before and will hopefully come and say hello soon and share their stories with you. While you are waiting, as there is nothing harder than waiting for a diagnosis, I thought I would share with you our helpful tips to help you cope while waiting for news.

Hi there so happy.to hear Beth is doing so well a week after her surgery. Getting her hair done will give her such a lift. It's amazing how eating better and just generally feeling better will help with her remaining treatments. I am going to meet surgeon on Tuesday in Edinburgh and will also have a pre op for next surgery. Enjoy your time in Rhodes.  Sending lots of love to you and Beth xx

1. Hi how are you? Beth is doing ok.  She has had 8 treatments so far with 13 to go.  She has felt tired but does not seem to be as bad as she was when on chemo.  Xx

What treatment is she having ? Is there any talk of surgery yet ? So glad she's doing ok, im ok yeah bowels aren't 100% and i had to change my phone appt with hospital because of work which i wish I'd not done now but got another appt in 2 wks xx

She is having radio/chemo tablets 5 days week for 5 weeks.  They won’t scan her till 6 weeks after her last treatment.  Hope you get things sorted.  Beth is doing so well still with the stoma bag xx

Hi there I'm so sorry I've not been in touch had a few family probs , I have been thinking about you and Beth over last couple of days , how is she ? And how are you ? I'm due my first ct scan after all my treatment xxx

I hope everything is ok.  Beth finished treatment 6 weeks ago.  Has scans on Thursday.  Radio and chemo tablets were tough on her.  Just hope and pray the tumour has shrunk.  How are you doing? I have been struggling with everything.  Recently found out a good friend of mine has breast cancer, another friend a brain tumour.  All very scary xx

Morning yeah things have settled down now thankyou , bless her please let me know how scans go , will she have surgery then to remove it ? I'm ok back at work full time bowels not too bad but not back to normal but the nurse said this could be my new normal and it is doable just different , I also had a friend from work had breast cancer then brain cancer and passed away at 54 ! Very scary just don't know what's around the corner hope your friends are ok , send my love to Beth it's a scary time for her but hopefully there's an end to this soon xxx

Sadly not good news, cancer spread to her lungs.  We are all devastated.  She has her appointment tomorrow with her new oncologist.  I hope and pray he has a damn good plan.  I am in Kefalonia at the moment.  Try to get rest before her next lot of treatment.  How are you? Xx

Oh no I'm so so sorry to hear this , I hope and pray with you , it must be so hard for you , I dont think I realised the impact on my mum going through all this myself , but stay strong and get on with the next plan he has tomorrow, and yes get some well deserved rest although obviously your mind won't be resting, im fine at the moment feel fine il have ct scan in October to check on things , let me know how tomorrow goes , in my thoughts xxx
