I have had a pet scan after nodules were found to be growing in both lungs .and activity was found in both lungs and salivary glands .l have to have biopsies and am very worried and scared
It will be such a stressful time for you as you are going through all these tests and dealing with so much uncertainty at the moment but I wanted you to know that you are not alone and other members of our community will know exactly how you are feeling at the moment having been through something similar themselves and I hope that they will be along to share their experience with you.
The long wait for all these test results can be so difficult and it can feel like time is standing still and you are left in limbo. We have information on our website on the biopsy and it mentions that it should take about 2 weeks for results to come through. It is normal to be scared during this anxious time - the waiting game is certainly not easy and I thought I would share with you these helpful tips to help you cope while waiting for important news.

I'm not sure l want to have biopsies has then l will know for sure...l know it is even from pet scan .didn't think it would hit me like it has .lve never smoked or anything. Have asthma . Had pneumonia couple times few years ago.
