Lump in Armpit

I noticed a lump in my armpit around 3.5 months ago ish, and kept and eye on it. Saw my doctor last week who said it didnt feel like a cyst or lymph node. The lump is hard, painless and doesnt move. Its got slightly bigger recently and ive noticed slight 'aching' to my breast and down my arm slightly on the same side as the lump. ive been referred to the breast clinic at a hospital around 1 hour away from me and i have my appointment tomorrow.

Im 37 with 1 child and feeling anxious over the tests and results.

Has anyone else had a hard, painless immobile lump in their armpit?

  • Hello Bailey87,

You must have had your breast clinic appointment by now. How did it go?

You did well to go and see your doctor about it and it's normal to feel anxious as you are waiting for further tests and results. I thought I would share with you our helpful tips to help you cope while waiting for important news and I hope you will find in there some good coping strategies to help you during this anxious time.

Other members of our community may have had a hard painless immobile lump in their armpit before and they will hopefully be along shortly to share their experience with you and what it turned out to be in their case.

Keeping everything crossed for you that it's all nothing to worry about!

    Best wishes,
