Biopsy taken results pending…….

First time here! I had a biopsy taken on Monday as my endometrial lining is measuring 20.73mm at premenopause and I have a polyp according to a recent ultrasound. I’m 40 years old and have excruciating painful heavy periods every month for the past few years. Has anyone ever had this and has any advice on how to stop my mind from racing

    I'm sorry this is causing so much worry but I'm glad you've joined us as we have many members who have been in a similar position, so you are not alone Charlie, and hopefully it won't be long until you receive some support and advice.

    We do have some tips and advice on how to cope with waiting for news which I hope you will find useful, but if you'd like to ease your mind by talking things through with one of our cancer nurses, they're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.
