New lump while awaiting excision biopsy result

Morning, 

I had my 6cm lump removed 16/7 and suspicious surface skin and I await the results.

The skin surface changes have been as concerning to the professionals as the lump. 

The wound in the past day or two is healing nicely and I was having a feel a day or two back and I'm certain the lump has returned - I can feel it's very different to the scar tissue and feels like a lump. (lump /surgery was upper thigh - referals was to sarcoma team).

This period awaiting results is torture.

    As you say, waiting for results is so, so, difficult, but I hope you can take some comfort from knowing that you are not alone, as so many of our members are going through this anxious wait as well and I'm sure it won't be long until some of them stop by to offer their support and advice.
