Spot on neck

I have had a spot on my neck, left side for just obver 3 weeks. It has been referred to the local hospital, who have taken photos, and I am booked in to have it removed on the 29th (next week). I think it is a kind of squorious? Type. It started as a whitehead, and after squeezing some clear liquid and bloodd from it, it looked like a doughnut.

it has now increased in size slightly, it is red, with a red ring around it, ans a sort of crusty scab where the blood was originally squeezed out of . I have 3 photos I have taken in the last 3 weeks. ( start, mid term and today.

should I wait another week? Or get it removed earlier. ?

  • Welcome to Cancer Chat Tvengineer although I'm sorry to hear about the spot on your neck.

I's good you have an appointment to have this removed next week but if you're worried about the changes you've noticed, do try and see if you can get another appointment with your GP so you can get them to have a look at this and find out what options are available to you.

Hopefully some of our members will offer their suggestions and advice to you soon as well but in the meantime, I am thinking of you and wishing you all the best for the 29th.

    Kind regards,
