Waiting for my appointment lump in breast

I recently made an appointment last week, which is now this Wednesday because I thought I found a lump. I’m nervous that it’s cancer since it runs in the family a lot, but I also don’t know if it could just be dense breast tissue cause I have it on the other side too. I’m really scared, and have no one to talk to about this, i’m constantly panicking even though I know it won’t solve anything. I’m only 20 and i’m terrified

    I'm sorry to hear you found a lump in your breast, but I'm glad you have booked in to see your GP and hope all goes well with your appointment today.

    If you have any questions or concerns playing on your mind after you've spoken with them, you can always speak with one of our cancer nurses on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They are very easy to talk to and will do all they can to support you.

    So many of our members know how scary it is to find a breast lump, so you are not alone Morgannnxoxox, and I'm sure you will receive some support and advice from them soon.

    We're thinking of you Morgannnxoxox and will have our fingers crossed everything will be o.k.

    The doctor said it’s most likely nothing to worry about, and booked me in for a scan because of my Mum having cancer. The scan is on sunday, i’m hoping all goes well
