Hi all. I had an ultrasound today (I was urgent referred on Wednesday for it) and was told today to expect my result within 5 days. Is this a standard wait or is this a bad sign?
Hi Fayrie, Every hospital is different as is every situation. Lots of factors like how straightforward the biopsy is, if it needs more tests (which can again be to confirm/rule out for sure, how busy the lab/clinic is, where about in the country you are etc). Whatever the results the waiting time can be torturous so take 5 days as being good that they will be lessening the waiting time for you.
