Bleeding during sex post lettz

Hey

So I had my lettz in October 2023 and 1 month later I had a large bleed and was admitted which they think I may have got an infection after the procedure. I waited to the recommend time to have sex. Since December 2023 to date I still experience bleeding during sex. It is not all the time but most times and only light.

I went to gp as they said its probably just from the procedure and I'm still healing but it has been over 6 months and it is really effecting me when having sex as I'm worried I'll bleed which is something something I've never had issue with in the past.

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. It's good to hear that you've seen the GP again about this. I'm not sure how much information they gave you, but it's important to understand how long this could potentially last, so if you feel you don't have the understanding about what's going on, try to speak to them again. You can request to see a different GP if you would like to.
