Getting a diagnosis

My friend who is a specialist nurse thinks I may have myelanoma as I have almost all of the symptoms and have for a few years but I cannot get to a doctor who will help me find out how can I get a doctor to listen to me I am not a regular doctor visitor but my GP will not test me what can I do ?

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. It will only be your doctor who can advise on this, so if you have concerns and you feel you're not being given appropriate answers and understanding, then the only thing to do is to try to make another appointment with the GP.

    If you feel your doctor is not listening, you are always able to ask for a second opinion from a different doctor.

    I hope you're able to get some reassurance about this soon.
