Hi I’m in the same boat haven’t had periods for 14 years was at work ( I work with all men so made it worse ) was just stood chatting no symptoms nothing then like a haemorrhage it was all down my legs nearly fell over with shock and pain but the pain passed quickly contacted my doctor and got fast tracked for an scan next Sunday I’ve googled to death and scared myself stupid I’m hoping that by replying to you I can also get some help or reassurance

Fingers crossed for the call hope it all goes well I had an mri a few years back for a slipped disc and yes not a nice experience no news for me yet I agree with the symptoms thing although I feel pretty washed out most of the time have stopped bleeding finally so that’s nice and hopeful my estimate tedd contact is by Friday so hopefully anytime now

The waiting is a killer. I waited 6 months for the results of my head MRI for them to then book a face to face appointment to tell me it was clear. I ripped the specialist a new one for making me wait 6 months for a two second face to face that could of been a class 5 month before

Fh I would have ripped him a new one too my god that’s criminal the worry that must have caused just dosent bear thinking about are you ok now though have they worked out what’s wrong and having treatment 

Yer it was clear no tumor the unilateral tinnitus and pain I was having was simply just that.

I'm just glad the tests and scans I'm currently having for a lump in my breast are only taking a few weeks I dunno if I could cope with waiting six months again.

I couldn’t that was a type of hell how did you cope anyway at least the tests now are much quicker hopefully like the scan it’s all clear and the lump just shows a cyst or something benign fingers crossed for you x

Hi all any news from anyone still none from me each day seems longer that the last lol I’m having a struggle today feeling really tired and just sitting waiting for the phone to ring 

Still waiting here and after my phone calls with the hospital I’m going to be waiting a good while yet as apparently the MRI scan has not been analysed yet by the team and there is a 6-8 week projected wait! 

I need to try and remove the worry from the front of my head and am just trying to carry on as normal now. 

I’ve had no further gynae issues so maybe it was a one off after all?!

I just got a call. I'm clear. I have something called duct ectasia it's a benign disease. I have never sobbed so much in my life. Still heading in on 16th so they can explain as she was concerned how panicked I was on the phone.

Apparently they had seven doctors in the results meeting this morning looking at it. It's one I haven't heard of either. It's where the milk ducts apparently widen and get thicker and get sometimes get infected. Apparently it tends to happen during menopause so it also confirms I'm going through perimenopause I guess like I thought I was. It's caused by hormone changes. Doesn't increase the risk of cancer.

I had to have all three. Mammogram was clear. Ultrasound showed an area of concern so they took two core biopsies to test and they have come back with no abnormal cells I guess. 

I'm going to ask alot of questions when I go in because I do get alot of pain in that breast the week before my cycle and apparently they can remove the affected ducts if needed.
