Hi I’m in the same boat haven’t had periods for 14 years was at work ( I work with all men so made it worse ) was just stood chatting no symptoms nothing then like a haemorrhage it was all down my legs nearly fell over with shock and pain but the pain passed quickly contacted my doctor and got fast tracked for an scan next Sunday I’ve googled to death and scared myself stupid I’m hoping that by replying to you I can also get some help or reassurance

at least when you have your results they can start some sort of treatment, even ( fingers and toes crossed ) if all is well they need to do something for the symptoms you are having ?  I find if hospitals think all tests are clear it’s just “your fine “ off you go , but a lot of us are clearly NOT fine and regardless we need answers x

Absolutely agree to that im a bit worried they are gona say nothing wrong of you go lol then i will just waste away  constantly loosing weight still cant think like that have to be positive they will find what’s wrong treat me and il be back to normal in no time xx

3 stone is a lot to loose in that amount of time ? Were you trying to loose weight ? 
I could do with loosing about that but not in this way I need to get my act together with that and other things but right now my mind is just constantly on this !

I’m not sure how long the wait is for the MRI results but if I do find out I’ll update here. 

I’ve had no sign of a period since but am getting some pelvis and back pain - not too much and it could be down to a stressy belly to be honest 

Oh I do wish your appointment was sooner than next Friday :(

Yes i believe i have stress belly too ! And every little thing i feel im thinking omg something has spread ! 
This isn’t fair on us all the waiting, but I guess there are so many of us in the same boat the hospitals are inundated 

when I google any symptoms it always comes back to the same bloody thing !! 
honestly Google is the enemy right now !!

Absolutely google just makes you worry more I’m staying away from it lol all it says for me is cancer cancer cancer so I’ve decided to stay positive and think I have some weard infection and a good dose of specific antibiotics and off I go back to normal lol that’s what Keeps me sane right now so anyway let’s all agree to post our results and next steps here for support of each other on our symptoms journey will be thinking of you all xx

Yes absolutely, my MRI is Monday so I will update Monday evening how it went or if anything was said 

Hiya so I had my MRI today , not a procedure I wish to repeat in a hurry ! I was injected with dye and buscopan and I  felt really weird 

they have told me 3 weeks now  for the results 

any one else had any news ???

Ugh to the 3 week wait! I’ve been a week and it’s doing my head in!  I wasn’t given an estimated wait time so was thinking of phoning tomorrow.

Yes it may have been the dye or the buscopan they injected in to me 

and the holding your breath is hard too

surely we would feel poorly if it was something sinister ? And you would hope the results would be fairly quick if that was the case x

Fingers crossed for the call hope it all goes well I had an mri a few years back for a slipped disc and yes not a nice experience no news for me yet I agree with the symptoms thing although I feel pretty washed out most of the time have stopped bleeding finally so that’s nice and hopeful my estimate tedd contact is by Friday so hopefully anytime now

The waiting is a killer. I waited 6 months for the results of my head MRI for them to then book a face to face appointment to tell me it was clear. I ripped the specialist a new one for making me wait 6 months for a two second face to face that could of been a class 5 month before

Fh I would have ripped him a new one too my god that’s criminal the worry that must have caused just dosent bear thinking about are you ok now though have they worked out what’s wrong and having treatment 

Yer it was clear no tumor the unilateral tinnitus and pain I was having was simply just that.

I'm just glad the tests and scans I'm currently having for a lump in my breast are only taking a few weeks I dunno if I could cope with waiting six months again.

I couldn’t that was a type of hell how did you cope anyway at least the tests now are much quicker hopefully like the scan it’s all clear and the lump just shows a cyst or something benign fingers crossed for you x
