Hi I’m in the same boat haven’t had periods for 14 years was at work ( I work with all men so made it worse ) was just stood chatting no symptoms nothing then like a haemorrhage it was all down my legs nearly fell over with shock and pain but the pain passed quickly contacted my doctor and got fast tracked for an scan next Sunday I’ve googled to death and scared myself stupid I’m hoping that by replying to you I can also get some help or reassurance

I know I was surprised too just how common it is considering I had never heard of any of this before 

Yes I have a tilted womb too. It is surprisingly common and I was always told it wouldn’t cause any issues but I beg to differ.  I needed a lot of help in childbirth and ended up having an emergency c-section with my second and now continuous failed attempts with hysteroscopies. 

Do you know how long you are going to have to wait for your MRI? Mine happened very quickly - I had a phone call on Sunday night and had it done on Monday. 

Ooh I also have a tilted womb !! I have to have 2 c- sections one of those as an emergency bcus of this 

I had waited 10 days , then they called me and it is this Monday coming  she said it was routine  that’s why have had to wait 

been told the results are 4-6 weeks 

im hoping to see a consultant after that cus I feel they are sending me from test to test with no consultations 

You really are being left hanging arnt you it’s not fair really they should be doing all this much quicker have you spoken to your gp or gynea dept at the hospital? 

I have spoken to the Gnea consultant secretary and she says this is within the time frame as they are actually still investigating ??? 
my gp says he won’t it can’t get involved with hospital waiting times 

my only thought is if  something sinister was found they would be chasing me alot quicker 

Yes, I know what you mean and I feel the same - hopefully no news is good news but it’s still nerve wracking!

I really feel for you I think the waiting is the worst part and the more you worry but hopefully no news is good news and as you say if it was something sinister they would be chasing more 

Period was beginning of July and I was referred on the 10th. My hold ups have been the hysteroscopies for sure. 

I really don’t want to be waiting weeks for the results of my MRI and may call on Monday/Tuesday if I haven’t heard by then. 

I had a cat scan on Wednesday was told it will be reviewed by the specialist and discussed on teusday I should have the results and what’s next by Friday so maybe work to that time frame and leave about a week gives them chance to look see and discuss hopefully then you will have answers I’m just waiting now for next Friday so good luck and hope you get the results quickly x

Oh that’s really good , the timescales our trust give us are so vague , I am having the mri this Monday so would you say to wait a week or so before chasing ?

Unfortunately mine are still here still bleeding very tired and now am loosing a lot of weight between February and now nearly 3 stone lost constantly bloated back ache and tired and oh yea very tired lol still it is what it is I will know what’s going on next Friday so only a week to go lol x

at least when you have your results they can start some sort of treatment, even ( fingers and toes crossed ) if all is well they need to do something for the symptoms you are having ?  I find if hospitals think all tests are clear it’s just “your fine “ off you go , but a lot of us are clearly NOT fine and regardless we need answers x

Absolutely agree to that im a bit worried they are gona say nothing wrong of you go lol then i will just waste away  constantly loosing weight still cant think like that have to be positive they will find what’s wrong treat me and il be back to normal in no time xx

3 stone is a lot to loose in that amount of time ? Were you trying to loose weight ? 
I could do with loosing about that but not in this way I need to get my act together with that and other things but right now my mind is just constantly on this !

I’m not sure how long the wait is for the MRI results but if I do find out I’ll update here. 

I’ve had no sign of a period since but am getting some pelvis and back pain - not too much and it could be down to a stressy belly to be honest

Yes i believe i have stress belly too ! And every little thing i feel im thinking omg something has spread ! 
This isn’t fair on us all the waiting, but I guess there are so many of us in the same boat the hospitals are inundated 

when I google any symptoms it always comes back to the same bloody thing !! 
honestly Google is the enemy right now !!
