  • Hello Parjen,

I just wanted to welcome you to our community and I hope that you will hear from others who have had similar thickening and nodules show up on a scan linked to a possible exposure to asbestos. Waiting for biopsy results can be really stressful and it's difficult to know what treatment you may have until you get the full picture and your biopsy results. Dealing with this uncertainty and the anxious wait for results and a definite diagnosis is by no means easy. I thought I would share with you these helpful tips to help you cope while waiting for important news.

It must be really difficult for you at the moment as the specialist indicated cancer, a Macmillan nurse has been allocated and yet you still don't really know exactly all the details of your diagnosis.

I hope you will get a some clarity soon and that you won't have to wait too long for your results and that you will hear from others here who have been in a similar place before and that they will be along shortly with comforting words.

    Best wishes,
