Unfortunately it's not possible for anyone here to advise on what may be going on - you have been referred for more tests, and only these can provide the answers you need.

What tests did you have? If it's the FIT test, that isn't testing for cancer, just for blood in your stool. Similarly blood tests don't test for cancer.

If you got a postive FIT test, all it means is that there is blood in your stool. Many things can cause that and I think one in ten positve FIT tests are cancer, so the odds are in your favour.
