Was this just a routine biopsy fir a rash or was it one specifically for suspected skin cancer under the 2ww? 

I went to my GP a few weeks ago and he had give me different creams and ointment to which none of them worked . He then sent a referral to the Gynaecologist to see me . My Gp mentioned the possibility of cancerous cells and the gynaecological doctor said the same but she wasn’t sure until the results of the biopsy which she done a week ago came back . It’s on my mind constantly at the moment .  Thank you for replying 

I'm a little confused. Where on your body is this rash as I don't understand why you were referred to gynaecology rather than dermatology? If you were initially given creams for the rash it sounds like they originally suspected basal cell carcinoma (a skin cancer) which they first try to treat with chemo cream.
