Hello Ellanew92,
I just wanted to wish you the best of luck as you are going though these investigations at the moment and it's bound to be an anxious time for you. There is information on our website on why you might need an MRI scan and you will find in there too how best to prepare for the MRI and what to expect. Don't hesitate to ask your medical team to explain to you why you've been sent for this MRI scan and whether you will also have a biopsy. I am sure they will be able to tell you more and answer any question you might have.
There will be other members of our forum who have been through this before and I hope they will pop by to share their experience with you and they may also be able to offer their insights on why you were sent for this MRI and whether they themselves had an MRI and if a biopsy was taken in their case.
The long wait associated with going through tests and results is indeed the hardest thing and I thought I would share with you some helpful tips to help you cope while waiting for news.
I am keeping everything tightly crossed for you that it all turns out to be nothing of concern.
Best wishes,
