Hello so I found this lump on my shoulder/neck (kinda where your top sits on the shoulder) few months ago whilst having a itch ! No idea how long been there no pain or any discomfort literally nothing ! I went doctors they wanted me have scan to be sure , I cant explain how nervous and sick I felt since retuning from the doctors that day , so I had my scan went In the room was 3 people 2 staff 1 student I believe so the lady doing my scan asked me lay down and turned to her student and said ok so thats a lynth node and with that we then check all the others so she scanned around my neck, throat etc,they asked me to wait to be seen by her colleague next door as its slightly on my shoulder and I guess her machine is just for soft tissue, so already I'm starting to panic, after like 20 min wait I go in to the 2nd scan about 7mins in she says I need a mri as its complex ???? I dont understand they can't tell me anything other then that so now I've got upto 2weeks or longer for this MRI appointment...I cant eat ,I've got headaches feel sick im just a nervous reck and I'm a mum which makes it so much harder , so basically I guess it's not a fatty lump or a cyst then so what does it leave other then the big C ? My doctors said they have do mri and biopsy before they evan know what's what ....please is anyone else going through similar I have no idea what is going on ..
