Cervical cancer symptoms?

Hi, 

I'm 36 and have recently started having brown discharge which starts after sex and lasts for at least a week. I'm on the progesterone only pill and so don't have periods. 

I'm also experiencing urinary urgency and leakage which has been going on for a few months. No sign of of a uti. Sometimes as well, sex is painful. 

Shall I go the doctors about this or could it be normal?

    Hello natbat87 and a warm welcome to our forum, 

    I think it would be a good idea to go and see a doctor about these symptoms as they need looking into since they must be rather unpleasant for you. Your doctor will be in the best position to tell you what this might be. Try not to worry too much about cervical cancer as there are so many other things it could be but it's important to flag this with your GP. Do mention to the doctor that you are taking this progesterone only pill just in case it could be linked to the pill you are taking.
