I've just tested positive for hpv in my cervical screening.

However this month I've also had horrendous irregular menstrual bleeding when I'm normally completely regular.

8th April- came on

17th April- off

23rd April- spotting after sex

27th April- spotting after sex

28th April- back to heavy bleeding until 2nd may

3rd-5th may - spotting after having a poo (definitely from vagina, not bleeding from bum. Although I do occasionally get rectal bleeding too)

10th May- spotting after sex 

I've also had slight cramps, feeling full easily and lower back pain.

The Dr has examined me internally and said all seems fine and to go back in 3 months if I still have irregular bleeding. Would you wait or should I keep pressuring for further tests?
