This must be rather upsetting for you to find out that it was an unsatisfactory sample and they were unable to obtain enough cellular material to make an accurate diagnosis. If I were you, I would contact your GP as soon as you can to find out what the next steps are and why you have been informed that it was an unsatisfactory example. You deserve to know whether another sample will be taken and how to proceed. Get in touch with your surgery as soon as you can so that you know what is going on as there is nothing worse than being discharged and left wondering what might happen.

I have contacted my GP yesterday and he is writing to them on Monday , to tell them to see me again, and to discuss a hysterectomy. he has also told me to put in a complaint as he said they should have called me back in to discus what happened and next steps. this has not helped with my mental health I'm so drained.
