Currently waiting since 2nd week of Feb. Admitted into Hosp for 1 thing. CT scanned and something else found. Fast tracked for 2nd CT. Discharged from hospital after 2.5 days. Eventually referred for PET scan mid March. Now Biopsy appt finally due and then results. Will likely be 3 nearly 4 months wait before I know and that is only if they can retrieve tissue as lung nodules are deep inside and on both lungs. Can only biopsy from largest nodule, which I've read might not be, but also could be sign of Early cancer!. Absolutely terrified that they may not get the tissue and / or more horrible invasive tests to follow. Anxiety has been through the roof. 3 years recovering from uterine cancer and now this and if it is Lung cancer likely to be another Primary type not metastatic and haven't really felt right for some time, even prior to my original cancer diagnosis. Apparently lung cancer hides / hard to detect, hence all the tests!
