Hi, a few months ago I had severe stomach pain. I went to gp and after a stool sample I found out I had H.Pylori a bacterial infection. I got antibiotics to clear it up and was fine for a couple of weeks. After that i started to get really bad diarrhoea. I done another stool sample, this time a FIT test which showed I had blood in my stool. In 3 months I have lost 11lbs in weight. My gp referred me 4 weeks ago for a colonoscopy. My appointment is in 2 weeks. Since then the diarrhoea has stopped, but my stools are ‘lose’ and frequent. When I go I feel like I haven’t emptied my bowels completely. My stomach makes really loud gurgling sounds at night which is not normal for me. I am so tired and breathless all the time. My bloods have come back normal. I notice small amounts of blood on tissue sometimes, not always. I’m worried I have cancer. Can anyone give me advice as I can’t wait another 2 weeks to see if it’s cancer. Did anyone have all these symptoms? Thanks in advance x
