Hi all!

First post, and I have been to the doctors (awaiting stool samples results and blood test happening on Thursday)

just after Christmas I had an extremely bad stomach, put down to something I had eaten. 
a couple weeks following that I washaving frequent mucus when going to the toilet, by this time my stomach issues were pretty much resolved, visited the doctors had an examination and she couldn’t feel anything was advised to monitor and come back if any issues returned. 

a week following, the stomach issues came back worse - I couldn’t eat or drink anything without needing to visit the loo 20 mins later (I’ve never had stomach issues prior to this all starting) made a appt but had my telephone appt cancelled by the doctors. They couldn’t rebook me in for a couple of weeks by which time it had subsided again. Again told to monitor and come back if returned. 

well a couple weeks ago it returned with a vengeance, regular toilet visits and now suffering mucus and blood (pretty much every other visit to the loo) so now feeling concerned!! Went back, the doctors now use the online form thing so came back asking for stool sample and told me they have booked me a blood test appt for Thursday.

27yo female, has anyone experienced anything like this? As I’m pretty stumped! And the blood is quite scary, not speaking to a doctor physically means I haven’t really had a 1-1 chat to discuss what it could be. Thank you so much! xx
