Long story but back in October last year I went to the GP with lower left sided pain in my pelvis I’ve had PCOS for years thought it could be a cyst rupturing a TV ultrasound showed a complex cyst on my left ovary 5cm in size. I was referred on cancer pathway seen by gynae consultant told there was nothing to worry about CA125 was 17 CT done and told it’s not cancer referred to Gynae.

By January the pain was worse with no sign of a general gynae appointment I paid to go private a new TV ultrasound showed the cyst has almost doubled in size presenting concerning features so another cancer pathway referral I saw a registrar last week more bloods taken my case sent to MDT I’ve now had a call to have more bloods and another CT this week. 

six months since this all started and no further forward had I not gone private I wouldn’t even be as far along as I am now,  has anybody else been through anything like this. I just want answers or at least a plan I’m in pain daily along with stressed and worried.
