Hello everyone.

I'll keep this short, lump and thickening found in my breast 1month ago. 2 week wait to see breast clinic team. Had an ultra sound and mammogram today followed by a biopsy.  The area of thickening is quite large, like a golf ball size.

The consultant said to ring in 2 weeks if I've not had results back. But he did say its most likely cancer 

I'm terrified. Single mum to an 8yr old and 3yr old ( 2 dogs too) and no support round me. Can you take kids into hospital when getting results?  Is there any hope of staying positive and hoping it's just a cyst?
