Hi 

I went in for a sigmoidoscopy just over 4 weeks ago to have a polyp removed once the camera investigated the polyp the dr said he wouldn’t remove it as it looked like a growth! He injected with blue dye and took several biopsies.

4 weeks later after many phone calls chasing the biopsy results I have been told that the consultant has the results and wants me to go in to discuss them in 6 WEEKS TIME!! 

I called the secretary to see if I could have the results over the phone as I feel waiting 10 weeks for results is inhumane she told me this is the normal wait time!! can anyone tell me if this is the normal wait time?
