  • Hello Scotty61

I'm sorry to hear that you've had some ongoing health concerns and that you're now faced with the decision about potentially having surgery. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious.

Did the Consultant say if any monitoring would continue if you choose not to go ahead with the surgery?

It's natural that you may have some conflicting thoughts about going ahead with the surgery and with the option to leave things as they are.

If you think it may help to talk things through with one of our nurses for some advice and support you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. I'm sure they will be happy to listen and help you think about any questions you might want to raise with your GP or the specialist.

Whatever choice you make Scotty61, I hope that you're supported by your care team and that your health remains stable.

    Best wishes,
    Jenn
