I'm sorry to hear that you have some concerns about your breast health. It's good to know that you've already been to see your GP and that they have referred you to get this checked. 

We know that for many people this period of waiting and uncertainty can be difficult. Often people will turn to the internet to search for answers and unfortunately what then happens is that they are left feeling even more worried and with more questions. Please try to avoid searching for information. Instead it may help to keep in mind that the majority of people seen in breast clinics are not diagnosed with cancer.
