Had my mole removed today, I felt like I went blank and didn’t ask why is was being removed and not monitored? I'm grateful for the appointment and at least it's off  I did say I couldn't really monitor it on my back where it is?

I was recently sent to dermatology for a mole of the sole of my foot which is atypical under the dermascope. Its beingvre.oved and the consultant did mention that they always remove moles from.the soles and the vack (esp lower back) due to the difficulty in self monitoring them.

Thanks for your reply, I wasn't given any information why it is coming off, I need to try and calm down my head is all over the place....

I'm awaiting a biopsy/removal referral after going to docs about a mole on sole of foot, and my anxiety is through the roof. It's been incredibly helpful and reassuring reading about other peoples' experiences on here, so thank you to everyone for sharing.
