2 weeks ago i had a fna thyroid biopsy due to me having a lump in my neck, its agonising waiting fir the results and as to why its taking so long, i feel so alone
Thank you. I'm dreading going. My appointment is late this afternoon, so all day of waiting and thinking about it. At the FNA, the dr said there were suspicious looking nodules and enlarged lymph nodes, so I've convinced myself it'll be bad news. Fingers crossed you have your results come through quickly x
Thank you, that's kind of you. Tests came back showing thyroid cancer. The surgery will be in the next few weeks. Onwards and upwards. I'm grateful there's no more waiting around, not knowing was terrible. Started to affect me.

Aww bless ya, i bet its a weight off your shoulders now you have an answer though, iv been hearing realy good stories of the op though, a friend of mine on fb had it done 2 years ago and she is absolutely all good now, its so hard to take in though, here if ever you need a chat, yes im still waiting for my results xx
Good to know about your friend. That's reassuring. Does feel overwhelming with how much information is given during the appointment, but it feels good to know things are getting sorted.
