For younger/fit patients it’s usually Nordic or R-CHOP/R-DHAP with auto SCT after. For older or less fit patients bendamustine with rituximab without transplant is common. Rituximab maintenance infusions every 3 months for 3 years is common after you reach remission to prolong it. My husband is midway through Nordic with an auto SCT planned. He’s coping really well with the treatment now that the gastritis has got better. He’s more tired than usual but trying to gently exercise on his good days. He started just before Christmas and is due to finish his 6 cycles beginning of April. He’s been told he can do his next round of cytarabine using a remote pump at home so he doesn’t have to have an inpatent stay.
