Bleeding update

Hopefully my update can help many of you to feel calmer. I have numerous fibroids, one non cancerous cyst and on HRT and a womb lining of 3.5. This was established after transvaginal scan. Spot bleeding if you having fibroids and in child bearing age is fairly common, so is growth of fibroids for some people while on HRT including spotting according to my GP. The lining of the womb is apparently crucial to establish if you need further investigation - I didn't know. If it's more than 5mm it should be investigated this is my UK GPs recommendation. Might vary slightly depending on circumstances. Checking for STD is also important as some of them can cause spotting. So can a VB infection when having intercourse. You can do a simple home test yourself for VB. And the treatment is a simple gel and tablet unless severe which can be treated by antibiotics. Thought I share to you all ladies what I learnt today. Stay safe all.
