I have had my coil for 10 years and have had light brown spotting through the years. Its was meant to be taken out in March but they’ve extended the years it can stay in to 8 years. Last Monday I started very light bleeding and it’s been everyday. I went to the doctor on Wednesday and she looked inside and said she couldn’t see anything abnormal but took some swabs and is sending me for a scan. To say I’m nervous with anxiety is an understatement. I’m 46 and hoping it’s the start of menopause. Has anyone experience this please?
