Good luck Courtney - I hope it is nothing.  I am going through similar, my anxiety is through they roof.  I have been referred urgently to ENT for investigation for several enlarged lymph nodes in my neck.  I havent had any other symptoms though, bu they are all fixed, hard, not painless.  I also notice a lump in the floor of my mouth but can only feel with my tounge or finger cannot be seen.  I cannot work out if it is in the tissue, or on the very bottom of my jaw bone.  No idea what that is... but any lumps are worrying me at the moment. 

My hospital appt is on Thursday x

Are your lumps small? The ones in my neck I can’t believe I haven’t noticed before! There’s only 2 but there not that big and I think they move around, the one in my groin is larger and it’s not as round it’s long like a small sausage.  I get what you mean about the anxiety iv never really thaught about anything like this happening to me but since finding the lumps and finding out about lymphoma it’s like everything makes sense that i have been putting of. I know it’s early stages but i was expecting the doctor to fob me of and tell me it was all in my head but because she has referred me as urgent and is actually doing it’s surprised me. I’m just hoping for the best but I just feel like this shoulder pain iv been ignoring, I have known all along but iv put everything down to anxiety and university and work and balancing it with the kids. Recently broke up from their dad too recently so feel like iv nobody to speak to about it. Sorry for the rant x

Two of them are quite big and quite promonent you can certainly see them as well as feel them.  I have got a pea sized one which is a relatively new one, that I have noticed anyway! and then my biggest is big in size but it is quite flat apprantly it sitting within the tissue.  I have got one like you described, long "like a smalls sausage".

It is strange you say that actually, I also have had shoulder pain, but that has been going on for some time now, so never thought until now that it could be linked.  

My hospital appt is only 2 days away now.  I was told to expect to go in, they will examine my neck and probably do an US too, and they if they think neccessary, if it does look like something, then they are likely to do fine needle biopsy x 

Good luck I hope everything goes as well as can go! I’m waiting for the letter for the appointment so in limbo at the minute just want it all over and done with all ready x

Hi Courtney - thank you for asking. 

I am still non the wiser.  I have got to wait for another urgent referral for an US & biopsy on my right node as the hospital said the location of that one is what they are worried about.  Once US has been done they will then decide whether they need to biospy those or not too.   So yeah, more waiting.... 

As if they haven’t even given you an ultrasound yet! I bet that is so frustrating! Did they at least give you a date. When did you get your urgent referral? They have 28 days to give you an answer I read. Also. How long after ur first gp apt/referal did you reciev your letter. My gp said a couple of days and I’m still waiting. Need to book it of work my boss is not really understanding wich is rubbish. Also with the urgent referral do they check your lumps first. Then rebook you in for an ultrasound and then rebook you in for biopsy? Seems so long. I have felt absolutely shocking past two days at work. So lightheaded and dizzy! My shoulder was severely painful yesterday. However today it’s my groin and hip. The groin pain is so dull it just feels like it is in my groin/thigh. So yesterday was worse than today! And I have had half a chocolate bar in two days wich I think is what’s making me dizzy. I just have zero appetite and when I do eat I feel sick or throw up. Hope they don’t mess about and book you in asap x

Woke up today and my legs from my thighs down are covered in purple bruises! They were a couple that the doc noticed when I showed her but they have multiplied! Hoping they go away I haven’t injured myself x
