Possible brain tumour

Hi all, new to this group. I'm just wondering about brain tumour symptoms. In the past year I've been experiencing headaches that are to be honest mild in nature but have started to become far too frequent for my liking, prior to this at 45 years of age I seldom got any headaches.

I generally don't even take a tablet for them but find that they are just annoying and not so much painful. Today I do feel slightly nauseous but went about my day as normal to be fair.

Just wondering does any of this sound familiar

  • Hello Mossmoss

I'm sorry to hear that you've had some ongoing concerns about headaches. You don't mention in your post if you've already seen your GP about this problem.

We would recommend that anyone who has a health concern seeks advice from their GP as they will be best placed to arrange any appropriate tests or referrals and offer some support and reassurance.

  • Jenn,

Thanks for your reply, I have indeed been to my GP and he has requested an MRI scan which I hope to have done in the next month. As I said the headaches aren't debilitating in any way , just constant and annoying and becoming too frequent.

I know that no 2 people's symptoms are the same and in the absence of test results I probably should not even be thinking this way. There are so many things that could be responsible

    Regards

    Moss

  • Hello Moss

It's good to hear that you've already seen your GP and that they have requested further investigation.

As you say, many things could be responsible for your symptoms, but hopefully, the MRI results will give you some reassurance.

Do let u know how you get on.

    Best wishes,
