I have my ultrasound tomorrow on my neck. Are they likely to say what it could be at the ultrasound? Just wondering what people's experiences are with neck ultrasounds.

Hi
They won’t give a diagnosis at the ultrasound. Results are usually a week or so and will go through a MDT meetings first.
Good luck for tomorrow!
Thanks. Nerves kicking in now. I'm still hoping it's nothing to worry about.
Absolutely, try to stay positive. I find the tests fine, it’s the wait for results challenging for me. I just try to keep busy..
I'm staying positive. Which could come back and bite me on the backside but if I didn't stay positive I think I would crumble and I can't, I have 3 kids.
I get it.
I have been going through tests and biopsies for the last month and haven’t mentioned any of this to my son. I flip flop between suspected diagnosis and they’ve got it all wrong! It all feels a bit surreal doesn’t it? I am probably in denial too because it’s all too scary to allow yourself to think the worst.
Absolutely. I went to the gp thinking they'd say it was nothing to worry about and left with a 2 week wait referral. But, gp did say she couldn't feel anything hard like a node. It's just swelling that isn't on the other side and it's in supraclavicular area (googled, shouldn't have!) and basically she didn't know what it was. I'm now thinking every little pain etc is connected.
Biopsy tomorrow gets you another step closer to some answers. Rest well when you can and try to kind to yourself ️
Thank you. And you too.
Hi there
Just checking in, how did you get on?
Thanks so much for checking in on me. I was going to update but got way layed! The scan went well. They didn't think it was anything suspicious. I'm to have bloods to just check everything is in order there but things are looking positive. Ty he area the swelling is in is supraclavicular so the radiographer said it's always best to check as that area is notorious.
