It's understandable that waiting for further testing and not knowing when your colonoscopy will be can be stressful. 

Regarding transferring from NHS to private treatment, while it may be possible, you may want to communicate openly with both your NHS healthcare provider and any private provider you're considering to ensure continuity of care and avoid any potential delays or complications. They should be able to provide you with guidance on how to proceed and any necessary steps to ensure a smooth transition.
