Waiting results

Just come back from a repeat breast biopsy. Doctor was lovely but explained that my imaging showed something nasty but my original biopsies didn't agree, and he thinks they missed the 'spot'. This time the biopsies felt deeper in my breast Now it's a waiting game for the results. Am I jumping the gun by assuming the worst? Has anyone else experienced this?

The wait must be unnerving for you. I hope it isn't breast cancer. If it is hopefully they have caught it early.

Like many tests the waiting is horrible.
