Receiving results

Hi,

I had a mole removed 1 month ago and have been sent a letter with an appointment to see consultant. What are the chances this is good news? I was told my results would come in the post within 6-8weeks, I’m expecting the worse with it being an appointment. I’m only 34 with 2 kids one being 8 and one not even a year old. I’m honestly going out of my mind thinking it’s not going to be the news I was hoping for. Please someone tell me they had a face to face appointment and the news wasn’t bad x

  • Hi, I am in exactly the same position. (Started a thread with the same question today) I received an appointment for a follow up appointment for 5 weeks time. Do you have long to wait?

  • Hey so when I got my appointment through to receive my results face to face it was 6days after I got the letter so didn’t have very long to wait at all but it was long at the same time. I went Friday just gone to get my results and was told I had melanoma in situ and would need more skin cutting off which has now been booked for next Friday so 2weeks to the day that I received my results x
