Negative colonoscopy

Hi i would like a little bit of advice, i have just had my colonoscopy done and it was all clear but my crp blood levels are still and my cfit test still is high  and also passing blood in my poo. should i push for more answers from gp or what should i do?

  • Hello Rikrik,

It's very reassuring news that your colonoscopy was all clear - it must be a real relief for you!

As you are still concerned about these CRP blood levels and the Fit test being high and also because you mentioned passing blood, it would be a good idea to get in touch with your GP and seek more answers - your doctor will be able to help you understand what bowel condition you might have. So do get in touch with your GP and take this opportunity to discuss your colonoscopy and other test results. Even though it's very good news that your colonoscopy is clear, it's important for your own peace of mind that you talk things through with your GP and that you get the reassurance and clarity you need at the moment.

Best of luck with your appointment and best wishes,
