Hiya all I am 50 soon male family history of colan cancer.

I have weight loss been topped up twice daily with iron very tired fit test back 6.6

Filled out urgent referral form but asked is your iron level OK Yes as I take it twice a day so rejected .

ANGRY said will be OK been on iron for 8 months No need to stop get worse to receive an urgent referral.

Seems mad any ideas

Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to hear that the wait is longer than expected. The only thing I can suggest would be to speak to your doctor about this, and see if they can explain the issue regarding you taking iron, to see if anything can be done to speed things up. If the doctor feels it should be more urgent, hopefully they will be able to do this.

If you have had a referral, you could also call the hospital to ask to be notified of any cancellations that could mean you're seen sooner, if this is an option.
