HI Hemjay  I went to the dentist for a routine appt and they found some white patches on roof of mouth. Have seen the consultant and had biopsy. Just had phone call from Hosp for appt Monday morning. They said they suspect Lichen Planus an autoimmune disease at my first app but I do not know much about that - Hope you are okay?

thank you for responding , I have seen the dentist today and they have referred me to specialist, possible biopsy ! I will have a look at autoimmune disease never thought of this 

Hemjay, I have just reopened cancer chat after a long time. I notice your post is from 4 months ago, so things must have moved on since then. How are things going for you? Did the appointment rule out cancer? I have had mouth cancer and survived it, but I know all about the worries people have.

I had tonsilhpv1.8 virus a  year ago. Every time I have pain I become paranoid that  it has returned.  I'm moody and don't want  to socialise  I put on  an act that I'm ok but I'm sad.  Hope you feel OK. Does anyone else feel this way
