I have had a chesty mucus cough now fir 3/4/5 weeks and a runny nose i have seen my gp i as also keep getting. UTI  i am so tired i cannit put one foot inn front of  other  HOWEVER i have a pacemaker as have CHF I FEEL this cud be masking my diagnosis i am an ex smoker 

i have a chest xray  due but shud i psy privately for  a CT  SCAN 

i see a different GP every time there is no coordination 

i also do not sleep and my appetite is pants food tastes awful

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to hear of the difficulties you're experiencing at the moment.

    It's difficult to advise on your question as really only the doctor(s) involved in your care can do this. I'm not sure when the appointment for the X-ray is - perhaps then you can find out more about potential timescales and potential next steps, to help inform any decision about whether you go private or not.
