I found a lump in December and was referred on the 2WW pathway. I had two mammograms and two ultrasounds snd was told the lump I found was nothing but they did find a cluster of cysts. I left the appt thinking this was the end of it but got a letter saying I'm being referred for a mri as a precaution. I had that appt cancelled and rescheduled and finally had the mri a few weeks ago. Then I had a call saying they found something on the mri and have referred me for another ultrasound and biopsy. They did say it looks like a fibroadenoma but can only confirm with a biopsy. I've worked myself into a tiz worrying about it. I'm 44 and it's on the upper outer breast near the armpit, I can't actually see or feel it at all. Has anyone had a similar experience? What are your stories? Thank you
