Hi, I was referred to the breast clinic by my GP after I went to get my boobs checked as I thought my nipples had changed slightly.  She referred me on a 2ww suspected cancer referral which freaked me out to start with!  I went to the clinic this week & had various examinations, mammograms & an ultrasound.  The consultant has said I have a 5mm R2/R3 on my right breast & that my original reason for going was actually not a concern!  I have no discomfort & no other symptoms other than I thought my nipple had gone flat! 

I’ve now been told I need a vacuum excision biopsy & am now waiting for a date for this.  Needless to say I am massively stressed, can think of nothing else & am continuously googling.  I know that the biopsy is to check for anything nasty but I am just so anxious about what this might show.  I guess I’m just looking for any suggestions on how to deal with this situation, I’m normally a really strong person but this has floored me a bit xx
