Hi hoping someone can help...
Ive been sen for an urgent referral to ENT after an ultrasound on my neck has shown a very enlarged lymph node full of fluid.
I have been having lots of other symptoms, severe itching all over my body, sweats , night sweats, and extreme fatigue. I put all of this down to peri menopause untill I discovered this lymph node, about three weeks ago.
Im obvs worried and finding it hard to work and concentrate on day to day life.
I also appreciate its more than likely will be not ne lymphoma. Or cancer of another kind.
But
Does anyone know, whats likely to happen at this ent appointment?
The consultant who did the ultrasound said because its filled with fluid a fine needle biospy might not work?
Anyone know what they are likely to do?
Any help would be so appreciated. Thank you!
