Sorry to hear you had a bad Hysteroscopy experience. I am also awaiting results for the same procedure, so completely understand how you are feeling. Waiting for results can feel all consuming. I was told results should be back in two, but can take up to six weeks to come back, (I am only in my second week of waiting). Having looked at different forums myself it really does vary and timings does not mean it will go one way or the other. Not sure I this helps or not. I have been keeping myself busy as much as I can. However, there is nothing wrong with calling and asking questions and following up. Maybe give yourself a deadline of ‘if I have not heard by x I will give them another call’. I am assured they are used to people calling and following up so don’t worry about doing it. Hopefully you hear something next week. 

Thank you both for your replies, so I recieved a call today to say my biopsy results are back and they said the consultant would call me at 6pm. After waiting anxiously gof the call I get a call at 6.30pm saying my appointment had been incorrectly booked and it would now be the 23rd March when I would see the consultant. I asked if they could tell me if the results were OK and they said they were not medically trained so could say anything. 

So it now looks like I have another two week wait until I get any answers, it just seems so unfair to say results are there but cant tell me anything.

So sorry, think that's the worst part, having to wait so long, mine aren't due back until 22nd April. Good luck x

Ouch I am not sure how I would take that either. It might be worth ringing the consultant secretary to explain how anxious you are and say you are happy to take a cancellation appointment if it means you can be seen sooner. Keeping my fingers crossed for you and keep us posted. I am only on day 13 of waiting and it is driving me insane so totally sympathise. 

Hi Scarlett1984, I can totally understand how you are feeling , as in very similar situation . It doesn't seem fair that if they have the results to ask you to wait a couple more weeks. I agree that perhaps could you call and explain you are very anxious and would someone be able to call you sooner . 
I've been waiting just over 3 weeks for ovarian cyst and uterine wall biopsy . I did email the secretary a week ago but will haven't heard . Although do have an app for next Wednesday .
